This is not the first time Nuevo Scala Secondary School in Rute takes part in an European exchange project. On this occasion, they do so through the Erasmus+ program of the Ministry of Education and Science. The project will be developed during two school years. This initiative is carried out in coordination with the education centers of four different countries. Poland, Greece, Portugal and Italy.

The first mobility took place last November 12. That day, five high school students travelled to Grojec (Poland) a kind and peaceful village that lies fifty kilometers from Warsaw.

According to Mr Oliva (the Spanish coordinator) immigration is common to all countries. Current students’ parents or grandparents everywhere have been emigrants or immigrants. This project is not intended to adulterate the idea that everyone has about immigration. But it wants to inform and raise awareness of how the different historical waves of immigration have been present in the culture of all European countries.
